We are grateful to all our students and families for their dedication and preparation, and for joining us at today’s recital. A special thank-you goes to Tom Lee for sponsoring our venue and instrument, allowing students to perform on a high-quality instrument that supports expressive playing and inspires musical growth.
Today’s recital is especially meaningful as it marks our first joint recital featuring students of Fei and Carl. Performance plays an essential role in music education—building confidence, focus, and stage experience while encouraging students to share their hard work with others.
We thank our students for all your hard work and preparation—the countless hours of practice that led to your best performances on stage today. We hope that through this process, you have gained valuable lessons and the mindset needed to excel in everything you do.

With our theme “Frost and Forte,” the program features younger performers in the first half and more advanced students in the second half. We begin with a short poem printed in the program to set the mood before welcoming our first performer. We hope you enjoy the music and celebrate this special afternoon with us. In winter’s glow, as a new year turns the page,
frost lingers softly while forte steps forward with hope.
From quiet beginnings to ringing celebration,
each note carries courage, promise, and light.
Today we play not just what we know,
but what we are becoming—bold, bright, and new.
