My Musical Animals
Keyboard Group
Using the method book written by Fei, My Musical Animals, students will establish a firm foundation and interest for music and piano. Concepts are introduced through active listening, movements and ensemble playing to cultivate the appropriate learning attitudes and routines, as a stepping stone to a successful music learning.

RCM Theory Group Class
(Virtual)
This course is meticulously designed in accordance with the RCM Theory syllabus. The instructor integrates intensive yet practical knowledge to enhance the students' piano studies, equipping them with the essential skills needed for a appreciation of music that goes beyond of just excelling the theory exam.
4-7 students per cohort (RCM level 3 group begins in Sep.)

"Create" Music Class
This is a Dalcroze-inspired music class designed to be a wondrous gateway to creative music learning. We will move to music, create movement compositions to express what we hear, and use artwork and sensory materials. We will learn all the elements of music by doing and creating together.

Seasonal Studies
Leisure Learning / Intensive Studies (Private Lessons)
Seasonal Study is offered to those who choose to have week-to-week lessons during school breaks or short terms throughout the year. Leisure Learning is designed for students who would like to set seasonal goals, learn piano at a fast pace, or explore music they enjoy in a time.

Email: feifanoh7@gmail.com to schedule a trial lesson today in which you will get to experience how it would be like to study piano with Fei. It is important to start right and Fei will also be able to answer any questions you may have regarding piano studies and discuss expectations. Trial lessons are 30 or 45 minutes, depending on the age of students and any prior experience. Trial lessons are charged based on Fei's standard hourly rate. See policy for rate.

Piano Method for 1-on-1 and Group Learning
Poco a Poco (PAP) is designed for children aged 4 to 7 and offers a unique approach to piano learning, setting it apart from My Musical Animals. It music theory, literacy, and appreciation, providing a comprehensive foundation for young beginners. With Poco and Coco traveling in their magical hot air balloon, children will discover variety of cultures and musical styles from around the world. It is packed with fun tunes cute graphics, and a promise that it is "not boring"!

POCO A POCO // MY MUSICAL ANIMALS
Poco a Poco (PAP) is an all-in-one method book for young beginners to start piano learning. PAP was written by Diane Kim and Feifan Oh with cute, original illustrations by Pocotee Loh in year 2021.
My Musical Animals is the first book for young beginners to explore group piano learning in a fun setting. Book 1 was published in the year 2014 and was recently updated in the year 2021. Book 2 is coming this March. Author is Feifan Oh with original illustrations by Pocotee Loh.
PAP and MMA are books that would work for 1-on-1 individual lessons or small-group learning of 2-4 children per group. The books promote the exploration of group learning that will bring many benefits to young children which not only improves their musicality but also their social skills and learning motivations.
