Study with Fei
Fei has reached her maximum capacity for private lessons with youth and children. However, she continues to welcome adult students for the year. Trial lessons are available year-round for anyone interested in seeing whether her teaching style is a good fit. If the trial is successful, students will be placed on a waitlist for priority registration when a spot opens. While waiting, families may also choose to book non-regular private lessons as they become available.

Fei, with years of experience, has published two vibrant illustrated book sets that your child will love. "My Musical Animals" is designed for young beginners to enjoy piano in a creative way, while "Poco a Poco" integrates music appreciation and covers fundamental piano basics Each set consists of two books.

I am Tami, mother of Coco (girl in the photo above) from Guangzhou, China. Coco is a girl who loves music.
Before we met Fei, Coco was enjoying singing and piano was her second instrument. However, I noticed that she was starting to lose interest in her piano practice and even 20 minutes of practice was a struggle for her. Due to the pandemic, we started taking online lessons. Despite the challenge of remote virtual lessons, Fei created the lessons that were tailored to my child's interest, and with her vast experience and high capability as a teacher, she quickly gained the trust from Coco. The learning standard set by her was suitable to my child but at the same time quite challenging as well. She also made sure to come up with non-boring home practice exercises. There were of course always difficulties in learning but Fei would always send us some videos for practice tips. If I look back the past one year, I am proud to realize that my child has in fact been committed to her practice, and never did she really miss her practice unless due to some special circumstances. She had remarkable improvements in learning and has finally tasted the joy of success that came from her accumulated effort. As a parent, I respect this kind of professionalism from a teacher. Even more, I admire how Fei puts in her heart to pass on the right attitudes to her students. Despite the school work pressure, my child continues to love the piano.
We thank Fei for this wonderful journey and we hope to stay with Fei for a longer time for more guidance. We also wish to finally see her in person as we have been having lessons from two different countries on the globe without ever meeting in person before!
